Runner Beans & Potatoes

From “The Chennai House” Master Chef!

Parboiled runner beans cut into 1 cm thickness
Parboiled sweet potato cut into 1 inch cubes
In a wok heat oil
Add mustard and let it splutter
Add few grains of urad dal ( can skip if you don’t have it )
Add the beans and pinch of turmeric and 1/4 teaspoonred chilli powder. I added salt here ,about a pinch only

Saute for about 2 mins

Add the sweet potatoes and saute for a till the potato gets coated with the spice . This recipe needs very little salt because the sweetness of the potato highlights the salt . I didn’t try it without any salt
