|1 pound||pork (pre-cut meat for slow-cooker / pulled pork)|
|1 can||beer (your favorite!)|
|1 teaspoon||chili powder|
|1 teaspoon||minced dry onions|
|1 teaspoon||garlic powder|
|1 teaspoon||mustard powder|
|1 teaspoon||asafoetida powder|
|2 cloves||fresh garlic minced|
|1||onion (chopped/sliced in small pieces)|
|2||green bell peppers (chopped/sliced in small pieces)|
- Step 1 Set the slow cooker to High.
- Step 2 Mix all ingredients in the slow cooker and add the pork. Place the lid on the slow cooker.
- Step 3 Cook pork on High for 1 hour. Reduce slow cooker heat to Low and cook for another 8 hours.
- Step 4 Remove pork from the slow cooker (separate from the juice) and shred with two forks before serving with rice, potatoes or bred.
Note: You can also stir-fry the shredded pork further with your favorite sauce (sriracha aioli, barbecue sauce, …), but check the sodium content of those sauces… Stay on a low salt diet!
